Bring proof-of-residence to drop off select E-waste, recycling and some Household Hazardous Waste at the CIty of Melville Operations Centre.
Please note:- Proof-of-residence may include your latest rates notice or valid drivers license with your City of Melville address.
- These days can get busy, so be prepared for a queue and a wait.
- Event strictly finishes at 1.00pm - we do not accept late drop-offs.
We only accept:
- Aerosol cans (spray cans)
- Bulky cardboard
- E-Waste (computers, printers, TV’s, mobile phones, smoke detectors and other electrical devices)
- Gas Bottles / Cylinders
- Large Car / Boat Batteries
- Paint
- Polystyrene
- Waste Motor Oil (max 5 Litres)
- X-Rays
We do not accept:
- General waste
- Tyres
- Recycling from commercial properties
- Household Hazardous Waste items including:
- acids and alkalis
- engine coolants
- fire extinguishers
- flares
- household cleaners
- pesticides/herbicides
- pool chemicals
- unknown chemicals
