This award winning community drop-off event lets you bring in items which are 'recyclable', but are too small or problematic to go in your kerbside recycling bin.
Start collecting these items at home in separate containers prior to dropping them off.
Items accepted:
- Plastic bottle tops (all kinds)
- Plastic bread tags
- Plastic can clips/holders
- Plastic contact lens cases
- Plastic cards (wallet sized)
- Plastic eye drop ampoules
- Plastic straws
- Plastic soy sauce 'fish'
- Plastic tripper pumps (spring removed prior)
- Steel and aluminium bottle tops and lids
- Aluminium can ring pulls
- Corks
- Metal keys
- Oral care waste (household amounts only)
- Pens, markers, highlighters
- Razors (disposable)
- Medicinal asthma inhalers
- Medicinal blister packs (fees apply)

Batteries, light bulbs / tubes and phones and their chargers can also be dropped to the recycling hub on-site. These items can also be dropped off year-round to select locations:
- Batteries (household varieties) can be dropped at B-cycle points at your local grocery store.
- Light bulbs and other hazard waste can be dropped to Household Hazardous Waste facilities.
- Phones and chargers can be dropped at widely available MobileMuster points.
