The Plastic Bag ban will come into full effect as of 1st July which means that single-use or lightweight plastic bags will no longer be available from your local grocery, fast-food, fashion or pharmacy stores.

Join The City of Melville and the South Metro Regional Council (SMRC) for an interactive information session, so you can find out exactly what the plastic-bag ban will mean for you and your household! Explore some alternatives to plastic bag use, learn what bags are ‘in’ and what bags are ‘out’ and discover some alternative options for bin-liners and general day-to-day plastic use.

There are door prizes to be won and a locally sourced, delicious supper (catered by Eco Eats), will be provided.
