Art and Classical Music come together in a relaxing and uplifting concert for people with dementia and their carers.

We warmly invite you to join us for an hour of  live music, an exhibition of the artworks completed in our Art & Soul workshops for those people living with dementia and their carers, plus a lovely morning tea! 

Everyone is welcome to enjoy this special morning concert where you'll hear light latin style jazz and gentle jazz versions of classical repertoire, played by violin/viola, double bass, piano and drums. 

Ticket price includes concert and morning tea and funds raised from the concert go towards the Art & Soul workshops.

Music Books Art & Soul Workshops are partnered by the City of Melville - an Age-friendly and accessible community.

Our Art Therapist is Iris Whitelock, and live music is coordinated by Music Book. This project is funded by the CATALYST Arts Fund. The Community Arts Network WA manages the Catalyst Community Arts Fund on behalf of the State of Western Australia through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries. Art & Soul received the Community Group of the Year from Attitudinal Healing WA, and proceeds from this award have supported the workshops.
