Join us for the Annual General Meeting of Electors on Monday, 3 February 2025

The Annual General Meeting of Electors (AGM) will be held on Monday, 3 February 2025, commencing at 6.00pm. The purpose of the AGM is for residents and ratepayers to receive and ask questions about the City of Melville Community Annual Report 2023-2024.

In line with our sustainability policy, limited printed copies of the Community Annual Report 2023-2024 will be available at the meeting. Copies can be viewed at our libraries, the City of Melville Civic Centre, or you can read it online.

Attending the AGM

You can attend the AGM in person or virtually via Teams. Either way, you will need to register.

If you would like to attend the AGM virtually as an elector, please register via Teams. You will still be able to ask questions and vote on motions when attending virtually.

Asking a Question

If you have a question you would like answered at the AGM, download and fill-in our Annual General Meeting of Electors Question Form (PDF) and email it to governance.team@melville.wa.gov.au by Monday, 27 January 2025. 

For questions that are submitted by Monday, 27 January 2025, we will endeavour to have answers available on the night. We may also take questions from the floor (in-person or virtually) if time permits. While we will endeavour to answer questions asked from the floor, if more information or research is required to provide an accurate and full answer, we will take them on notice.

Moving a motion

Motions are at the discretion of the Presiding Member and should be submitted by downloading and filling in the Annual General Meeting of Electors Motion Form (PDF) and submitting to governance.team@melville.wa.gov.au prior to the meeting. 

Motions will be dealt with at the meeting in the order they are received.
