Meet John Marshall, Volunteer Group Leader

John Marshall has been the Volunteer group leader and art tutor of the Willagee Art Group for roughly 12 years. He has received the Mayors Award for his dedicated volunteering with the City. He appreciates the social side of volunteering and is always making people laugh with his great sense of humour. The current art group and John were based at The Meeting Place in Fremantle and then decided to relocate to Willagee Community Centre and have been here for 12 years. John has always wanted to start an art school and feels volunteering as the Art group leader gives him a sense of this satisfaction.

The Willagee Art group is in two parts and usually meet in the centre Mondays 12.30pm to 3.30pm and Thursdays 11.00am to 2.00pm. The group currently meets monthly online in the Virtual Community Centre.
