Melville Volunteer Resource Centre provides complimentary support, information and resources to not for profit volunteer involving organisations in the City of Melville.

Not-for-Profits and other organisations outside the Melville area are welcome to access our services by becoming members. Refer to Membership.

What we offer to our member agencies

Volunteer Recruitment

We provide registration of your agency and volunteer positions on our database. This information is then passed onto potential volunteers who may be interested in volunteering with your organisation.

MVRC also displays volunteer positions on the City of Melville website.

To advertise a volunteer position, please complete and submit the Volunteer Position Form.

Volunteer Management Support

Melville Volunteer Resource Centre can facilitate training for Volunteer Managers across the year. Training is aimed to keep everyone up-skilled with the latest knowledge in the volunteering sector.

Training can be tailored to your organisation needs.

Volunteer Referral Service

We provide information on volunteering opportunities to support potential volunteers and advertise volunteering positions for agencies.

Promotion

We actively promote your organisation, services and volunteer positions to potential volunteers and the local community.

Information and Resources

We seek to provide information, resources and advice on best practice standards for organisations involving volunteers.

Volunteer Recognition

MVRC in conjunction with Auspire - Australia Day Council WA contributes to recognising the positive contribution of local citizens throughout the state who are worthy of the community’s attention.

The Community Citizen of the Year Awards profiles leading local citizens who are role models and who inspire us with their achievements and challenge us to make our own contribution to creating a better community.

MVRC can promote these outstanding awards in your organisation.

Volunteer involving organisations outside the City of Melville (not based in or has a branch in the City) can become members, via annual membership fee.
