National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) provides support for people with disability, their families and carers in Australia. The NDIS provides all Australians aged 7 to 65 years with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live an ordinary life.

The NDIS is being implemented by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).  The NDIA is working with the following Partners in the Community to deliver services to WA participants:

  • Mission Australia (LAC)
  • APM (LAC)
  • Wanslea Family Services (ECEI).

The new partners will be ready to deliver services from 1 May 2019. The NDIA will be managing planning services for WA participants until the new partners are fully operational. Please contact 1800 800 110 to be referred to your nearest NDIS office.
