About the Attadale and Bicton community hub re-vitalisation

Since first being developed in the 1950's its time Attadale and Bicton had a little bit of a spruce up. FAB_ric (Friends of Attadale and Bicton - Re-vitalising and Invigorating our Community) is the new group set up to do just that in conjunction with shop owners. In our sights is giving the shopping strip at the corner of Moreing Rd and Davis Road a makeover. Think artwork, outdoor seating, a noticeboard and little library to make to make this a real community hub where kids can play and friends can meet. 

Project Details

  • Budget: $19,000
  • Location: Shop strip at the corner of Moreing Road and Davis Road Attadale
  • Community Benefit: This project will create a destination in the suburb for young and old alike. Facilities such as seating, noticeboard and little library will encourage social interactions and local spend in the area.
  • Who can be involved: This project will be a real grassroots experience. We will be drawing on the talents of all the local community to do artwork, building etc. We will look to include the local men's shed and schools.
