The City of Melville (“City”), is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the Roof Painting and Refurbishment of Leeming Recreational Centre which is located approximately 15 km south of Perth in the suburb of Leeming, Western Australia, 6149, at 55 Farrington Road. The building comprises of multiple recreation spaces and is divided into following areas: - Indoor sports area - Creche area - Steel canopy - Performing arts/school area - Indoor cricket area - Squash courts area Cardno undertook a site inspection and provided a condition report in December 2018, as commissioned by City of Melville, to determine the condition of the steelwork on site following multiple leaks in the roofs and provide recommendations for maintenance and rectification works. The report outlined a number of measures to be implemented to rectify various levels of corrosion present in the external steelwork, with the internal steelwork being considered in good condition. It is determined that rectification works are to be undertaken to restore the critical elements of steelwork. This scoping document outlines the current requirements and scope of works of the proposed rectification works to the roof and steelwork on site. The rectification works are to be undertaken only for the following areas of the Leeming Recreational Centre: - Indoor sports area – Confirmed Deliverable - Steel canopy – Confirmed Deliverable - Indoor cricket area* - Unconfirmed Deliverable *Unconfirmed Deliverable – the refurbishment of the indoor Cricket area is subject to final approval by the City.

The City of Melville (“City”) has sought a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to undertake the supply of auto electrical services across the City’s fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment. The City currently has a fleet of 480 vehicles, plant and equipment which includes: • 86 passenger vehicles including utilities • 21 waste trucks • Assorted trucks, sweeper trucks, compactors, trailers, front end loaders, ride on mowers and general equipment. The City’s fleet is subject to change over time and the City does not guarantee the amount of work which will be required as part of this Contract. The Services will generally be carried out at the City’s Operation Centre (Bramanti Road in Murdoch). In the case of a vehicle breakdown requiring auto electrical works, the Contractor may be requested to attend to a vehicle anywhere within the City’s boundaries. The Contract period is for an initial term of two years with two additional 24 month option periods which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City. The Services shall include emergency works, urgent works, non-urgent works and planned works. From time to time, Services may be required out of normal working hours and on short notice. The City reserves the right to engage a contractor outside of this Contract for auto electrical systems unique to a specific contractor/supplier. This Contract excludes auto electrical services provided as part of the supply of a good (e.g. installation of GPS units).

Reg 17(2)(a) The City of Melville (“City”), is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to supply and deliver compostable kitchen caddy liners. Council resolved in October 2018 to implement the roll out of a three bin Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) system. Part of the success of the system and low contamination rates is due from the supply of compostable kitchen caddy liners for use by the residents. The rollout concluded the end of September 2019 and a yearly supply of liners is now required for the 20/21 Financial Year onwards. The City does not guarantee the quantity that will be required but estimates approximately 145,000 roll of 75 8ltr liners will be required per year and approximately 2,000 roll of 20 35ltr liners will be required per year. This Contract is for a one year term with three 12 months option periods which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City. The City will appoint one Contractor for the provision of the Services under the Contract.

The Contract period is for an initial term of three years with two additional 24 months option periods which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City. The City aims to start the delivery of online training by the 1st July 2020. A recent review of the City’s current online training has revealed that it does not meet the City’s requirements for: - Training governance – the current software does not effectively support the online training processes or managing its structure. It does not have an interface to the City’s Human Resource Information System to enable a single source of truth for all training. - User engagement –the software is not easy to use and it is not easy for trainers to create engaging courses or manage them. - Sustainability – there is a lack of professional support for the existing software. It also does not automatically enrol users to mandatory courses. - Return on investment – The amount of time it takes to develop courses and the resulting quality does not increase the effectiveness of employee training. - Accessibility – online courses are not mobile friendly. The City is now ready to purchase a new learning and management system to support the online training strategy to be rolled out across the City in July 2020.
