Election Ward Boundaries

City of Melville Wards

Elected Members (also known as Councillors and Mayor) represent residents across six wards.

The Local Government Advisory Board sets out recommendations around the ratio between the number of Councillors to the number of Electors (rate-payers living in the ward). This is to ensure similar levels of representation across all wards.

Ward boundaries consider factors such as:

  • Community of Interests
  • Physical and topographic features
  • Demographic trends
  • Economic factors
  • Ratio of Councillors to Electors in the various wards

Check your enrolment online at the Western Australian Electoral Commission.
