The new mobile responsive, customer focused website has a fresh new look and enables customers to find information quickly and complete online tasks easily.
City of Melville Mayor Russell Aubrey said the City’s new website has some great new features, including a neighbourhood map for residents to find out about key products and services near them.
“After extensive user experience testing on our old website, it was apparent our website wasn’t up to scratch and we needed to design and build a new website for our customers,” Mayor Aubrey said.
“Working with expert website creators and using analytics and results from customer experience testing, we have created a user-friendly, informative website that allows our customers to get things done online.”
“My favourite feature is our new neighbour map on the front page of the site. You can enter an address to get bin days, verge collection information, information on Elected Members for that area and important property and zoning information. I think residents will find this particular function very useful.”
“After we go live, I urge you to jump online and let us know what you think and if there is anything we could do to improve any of the content.”
The City of Melville’s new website is due to go live from Tuesday, 8 May and can be accessed on the same web address at www.melvillecity.com.au. For live updates, follow the City on Facebook or Twitter.
