About the Engagement

We recognise the COVID-19 pandemic as not just a health crisis but an economic and social crisis as well. We started a Happiness Stimulus Package to fund ideas that will benefit, and bring happiness and joy to our community and neighbourhoods during this time.

How you could get involved

We invited you to share with us your ideas about things the City could fund to bring happiness to your local Neighbourhoods, in keeping with COVID-19 safety requirements.

You could get involved by:

  • Sharing your idea to bring happiness by selecting a category your idea fits in and telling us about it
  • Click 'Like' if you see an idea you support
  • Discuss the ideas on the wall in a positive and constructive manner.

The opportunity to share your ideas have now ended. Click on 'Follow Engagement' to receive updates about the Happiness Stimulus Package.

How we engaged with you

Who did we engage with?

We engaged with people living in the City of Melville.

How could you get involved?

You were invited to share your idea on how to bring happiness on the Ideas Wall on this page. If you liked an idea that someone has posted, you could 'like' it or join the discussion to build on the idea.

What happens to your ideas?

All ideas generated will be collated and reported to the Community Development team for consideration for funding. This is not a grants program and City will look at funding ideas that resonate strongly in the community.
