A Message from the Mayor

Hello

It is with great excitement that due to COVID-19 restrictions easing, I am able to resume face to face meetings with our community.

We have taken appropriate measures to ensure people’s safety in attending sessions, reducing the capacity to 10-12 people at one time, which also means more time for me to speak with people individually.

We received feedback from our community when we initially launched in January, to host sessions at times outside of the working week on a Saturday or during an evening, and I am very pleased to say that as we resume these sessions, I will be visiting other sites in our community at different times to connect with individuals and groups.

I would like to thank all of the residents who have spoken with me to date to discuss many different things about the City of Melville. Here, on the Melville Talks conversation hub, you can see my response and contribute further to the conversation online.

Thank you and take care,

Mayor George Gear
