The City has completed extensive community and stakeholder consultation over multiple years regarding a proposed streetscape upgrade of Kearns Crescent in Ardross. The business sector has been particularly opposed to any concept that would reduce parking.
A report, including an officer recommendation, will be presented to the Ordinary Meeting of Council on 19 August 2025. Based on the feedback received and the high capital cost of the proposed upgrade, the recommendation is to proceed with road resurfacing and ongoing maintenance only, and not progress with a full streetscape upgrade.
