2020 Review of the Plan

In September 2020, the City of Melville will be publishing a revised Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Plan. 

Since COVID-19, it is understood that the community's aspirations for the future may have changed, so before doing any revisions, we checking in with the community via survey on Melville Talks.

Previous Review of the Plan

The review of the Plan was overseen by a Community Reference Group, consisting of 10 diverse members of the community, to ensure the community was involved in this review from the start.

The Community Reference Group met weekly and helped shape the "Tell the City Where to Go" survey, which asked about individual priorities and preferences. 1,394 people completed the survey.

Finally, a community workshop was held in May 2016, where participants had a final opportunity to think about quality of life and quality of place they wanted to see for the City.
