Willagee Hub External Lighting Upgrade

The Willagee hub is set to receive new lighting

Project Information

The City has received Federal Grant Funding as part of the LCRI Stimulus Round Two to improve the lighting around the Willagee Hub area (including George Humes Park, along with areas around the Willagee Community Centre and Willagee Library). New LED lighting improve Community use within the area.

George Humes Park will be closed for trenching works from 7am to 5pm starting Monday, 20 September through to Friday, 24 September.

Overall works include:

  • Installation of underground conduit for new lighting within George Humes Park, west and north of the Willagee Library, Kaya Lane and around the Willagee Community Centre.
  • Light pole installation and fitting replacements within George Humes Park, west and north of the Willagee Library, Kaya Lane and around the Willagee Community Centre.
  • Onsite work will occur in three main blocks (underground work, pole installation and fitting installation).
