As per Council resolution CD18/8107, there is a requirement for a small amenities building consisting of two change rooms, universal access toilet and kitchenette to provide a basic level of infrastructure to support reserve use. The City of Melville has started the process with the award of a contract for the design of utility services headworks (water, sewerage and electricity) at Bert Jeffrey Park, Murdoch. The City has also newly appointed architectural services to produce construction drawings from the concept, as well as provide a 3-D render of the building design. Once produced, the render will be uploaded to this project page, the render is scheduled to be complete in July, 2020.
Once detailed design of the headworks and building have been completed, a tender will be issued for the construction of the headworks and the amenity building in an effort to ensure a seamless transition from completion of the headworks to building installation. The amenity building is to be located in the north-west of the reserve.
This page will be updated as the project progresses.
