People, Places, Participation
The City of Melville is asking the community to help review People, Places, Participation: A Community Plan for the City of Melville 2007 - 2017 which guides all actions and priorities for Melville’s future on issues such as safety, the environment and sense of community.
The Plan states a shared vision for the future; identifies key themes and areas for action; provides information for planning and service delivery; and budgets for government agencies, local community groups and other stakeholder groups. It also includes a monitoring and review process.
A Community Plan is a living document that is regularly reviewed to reflect the changing aspirations of our community. This Plan is reviewed every four years in a wide-ranging community engagement process.
