Release of Canning Bridge Precinct Vision by Minister John Day

The much anticipated release of the Vision is the culmination of many months of consultation and preparation through a unique partnership of the two local governments of the City of Melville and the City of South Perth and the State Government through the Department of Planning on behalf of the Western Australian Planning Commission.  

The release of the Canning Bridge Precinct Vision also signals the start of the next phase of the project which is to prepare an Activity Centre Structure Plan for the precinct.  This preparation will include the many studies that have been requested by Council and will involve more consultation with the residents and other key stakeholders.
