The Vault Unlocks For Another Term
Local young people again have a place to hang out, have fun and relax with the City of Melville re-opening The Vault youth space for Term 4.
The Vault opening hours have changed this term with Chill Out Thursdays running from 5.00pm to 8.30pm and the Friday afternoon sessions running from 3.00pm to 7.00pm.
Community Development Officer – Youth, Jo McKay said The Vault, situated at the back of the Melville Civic Centre, provided young people with a fun, safe and pressure-free environment to just hang out. “There is a variety of activities and a wide range of equipment for youth to use, including computers with Internet access, game consoles, a pool table, table soccer, projector and screen music,” she said. “Alternatively, you can sit back and read magazines or play board games. Youth staff run the sessions and always open to ideas for new activities.”

The Vault is located at the Melville Civic Centre, Almondbury Road, Booragoon (behind the Hoyts Cinema complex, Garden City Shopping Centre and the Civic Square Library).
