Residents Alert to Suspicious Operator
The City of Melville is warning all residents to be cautious of a man in the area posing as a roof cleaner.
City of Melville Chief Executive Officer Dr Shayne Silcox said it has come to the City’s attention that a suspicious operator is moving through the local vicinity offering to clean asbestos roofs.
“The nature of this activity is of concern to the City both from a public safety and environmental point of view,” he said
“I encourage all residents to become more diligent and informed about services offered by any trade person particularly when hazardous materials are involved.
"If in doubt or if you believe you may have been affected please contact the City of Melville Health Services and our Environmental Health Officers will assist you.”
