Puppies Found in Plastic Prison - Homes Have Been Found
Three eight-week-old puppies are recovering from a horrific ordeal after they were found tied up inside a plastic bag and dumped in a park in Hamilton Hill last Thursday, 10 January 2008.
Luckily for the puppies a passer-by stopped to investigate the plastic bag, discovering the three of them inside. The sisters were brought to Murdoch University for a check up and worming treatment before taking up temporary residency at the City of Melville Dog Pound in Murdoch.
Mayor Russell Aubrey said it was very upsetting to see something like this occur. “Luckily the puppies were found and brought to the City’s Dog Pound,” he said. “Hopefully we can find them a good home.”
With the Christmas and New Year period over, January is the worst time for unwanted cats and dogs with pounds, vets and animal shelters swamped with abandoned pets.
Please note: All the puppies have been found new homes.
