Puppies Found in Plastic Prison - Homes Have Been Found

Published Date: 17 January 2008, 02:14 PM

Three eight-week-old puppies are recovering from a horrific ordeal after they were found tied up inside a plastic bag and dumped in a park in Hamilton Hill last Thursday, 10 January 2008.

Luckily for the puppies a passer-by stopped to investigate the plastic bag, discovering the three of them inside. The sisters were brought to Murdoch University for a check up and worming treatment before taking up temporary residency at the City of Melville Dog Pound in Murdoch.

Mayor Russell Aubrey said it was very upsetting to see something like this occur. “Luckily the puppies were found and brought to the City’s Dog Pound,” he said. “Hopefully we can find them a good home.”

With the Christmas and New Year period over, January is the worst time for unwanted cats and dogs with pounds, vets and animal shelters swamped with abandoned pets.

Please note: All the puppies have been found new homes.

Awwwwghhh!!!

Hello just need some information on what sort of dog they are? Are they medium size dogs? Do they need a big back yard? Are they suited for three boys? Are they work dogs?

Thanks

Thankgod for that great person who walked by at the right time .Heaven help us
when in this society we have dispicable human biengs such as the ones who dumped those poor animals . How is that possible that someone of that evil nature
can actually be amongst us .there are sadly and quite likely not even their fault humans born every day the same as that Very sad ..
So happy to see the puppies forund homes and bless those who were kind enough to take them home .....good luck to those people and thanks to the council for printing this news it was good to know about this event ...
