Community Partnership Funding Applications Now Open
The City of Melville is calling for applications from community groups for Community Partnership Funding of up to $10,000.
Community groups that have an Australian Business Number, not-for-profit organisations that provide services within Melville and young people aged 12 to 25 years inclusive are eligible to apply.
Level One funding application requests for $5,000 to $10,000 are open until 31 May 2011.
Level Two funding application requests for funding from $1,000 to $5,000 and Level 3 funding application requests for funding up to $1,000 and Youth Development Funding application requests are available all year.
Mayor Russell Aubrey said, “The City of Melville offers these levels of funding to encourage and develop local community projects and to support community groups that make a positive contribution to community and cultural life in the City of Melville.”
“Previous beneficiaries of this funding include the Australian Red Cross, the Jacaranda Festival, Community Midwifery WA, Carols in the Park and parenting and relationship building workshops."
President of the Rotary Club of Applecross Melodie Kavan said, “The Rotary Club would not be able to organise the popular Jacaranda Festival without the City’s Community Partnership Funding grant. We greatly appreciate the support.”
