The City of Melville has put a tender out for the Leeming Recreation Centre as it continues working towards finding the best solution for the community as a whole.

Chief Executive Officer Dr Shayne Silcox said the City was looking for the best option for the community as a whole. “We have been through the Expressions of Interest process, and as per the Local Government Act, we are now taking advantage of another opportunity in the form of an open tender. The tender specifications are designed to ensure the best outcome – and we invite all interested parties to consider the provision of services at this facility,” he said.

Information about the tender is available at www.melvillecity.com.au/tenders/. The closing date for interested parties is Thursday, 11 June 2009.
