Limestone Concert Series

Our free twilight concerts where held in the Limestone Amphitheatre in Summer 2018.

This much loved concert event series has been bringing free musical evenings to our community for over a decade. Two fantastic free twilight concerts where held on the last Sundays of January and February. The intimate concert series where once again held in the Limestone Amphitheatre in Booragoon.

This year was all about cover bands singing the songs you love in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Please click the link below to see some of the images from this years events.

We had an amazing concert series and thank the public and our wonderful residents  in the City of Melville for their continued support.

Parking: Free parking in the City of Melville Main Hall car park (off Davy Street) or Hoyts Garden City car park.

February Concert - the last Limestone Concert for 2018 and the last in this location

Date: Sunday, 25 February 2018

Time: 5.30pm to 7.30pm (Feel free to arrive a little earlier to find a good spot!)

Venue: Limestone Amphitheatre - 10a Almondbury Road, Booragoon

Parking: Free parking in the City of Melville Main Hall car park (off Davy Street) or Hoyts Garden City car park.

Venue

The amphitheatre is located outside, in between the City of Melville Civic Centre, Main Hall, Civic Square Library, Hoyts Garden City and Garden City Shopping Centre.

Seating

Seating is limited at the venue, so it is advisable to bring your own folding chair. If you do manage to secure a spot on the grassed Amphitheatre steps, you still may wish to bring a picnic blanket for comfort.

Food and beverages

Bring a picnic full of yummy nibbles and refreshments as food vendors will not be on site.

Boab Café (located within the Civic Square Library) will be open and serving coffee and other hot and cold drinks during both concerts. They will also have small selection of food for purchase as well.

Getting to the venue

Free parking is available at the Main Hall car park or Hoyts Garden City car park. Please view the Limestone Concert Series Flyer & Parking Map in the related links section for further directions.

If you wish to use public transport, the closest bus station is located a short walk from the venue just outside Garden City Shopping Centre. Visit the Transperth website for further directions and to create your own travel plan.

Wet weather plan

In the case of inclement weather the Limestone Concerts will be cancelled.

Additional Information

Beyond 2018 the Limestone Concert Series will take on a fresh new look and feel due to the venue change brought on by the pending works as part of the Garden City Shopping Centre expansion project; part of the Melville City Centre Plan.
