Limestone Concert Series

Our free twilight concerts held in the Limestone Amphitheatre in Booragoon will back for Summer in early 2018.

This much loved concert event series has been bringing free musical evenings to our community for over a decade and it’s on again in 2017. Two fantastic free twilight concerts are set to be held on the last Sundays of January and February. The intimate concert series will once again be held in the Limestone Amphitheatre in Booragoon.

This year is all about original artists and the amazing pool of talent which we have here in WA. Pack a picnic and enjoy an evening of beautiful music written and performed by local singer/songwriters.

Venue

The amphitheatre is located outside, in between the City of Melville Civic Centre, Main Hall, Civic Square Library, Hoyts Garden City and Garden City Shopping Centre.

Seating

Seating is limited at the venue, so it is advisable to bring your own folding chair. If you do manage to secure a spot on the grassed Amphitheatre steps, you still may wish to bring a picnic blanket for comfort.

Food and beverages

Bring a picnic full of yummy nibbles and refreshments as food vendors will not be on site.

Boab Café (located within the Civic Square Library) will be open and serving coffee and other hot and cold drinks during both concerts. They will also have small selection of food for purchase as well.

Getting to the venue

Free parking is available at the Main Hall car park or Hoyts Garden City car park. Please view the Limestone Concert Series Flyer & Parking Map in the related links section for further directions.

If you wish to use public transport, the closest bus station is located a short walk from the venue just outside Garden City Shopping Centre. Visit the Transperth website for further directions and to create your own travel plan.

Wet weather plan

Even though we are sure the sun will be shining during our delightful concerts; if it does look like a chance of rain, the show will still go on! We will simply move the concert into the shelter of the Main Hall.

All parking and transport arrangements can remain the same, as the Main Hall is right next to the Amphitheatre.
