Bunny Love at Garden City
International artist Stormie Mills is adding an edge to Garden City's Easter with his iconic pink bunny taking up residency at the Centre from 7 April.
Winner of the Kids' Choice Prize at Sculpture by the sea, this 4 metre high bunny is set to turn the traditional Easter Egg hunt on its head with the ultimate Bunny Hide N' Seek.
In addition to the artwork, nine bunny motifs will be hidden around Garden City, with clues of their whereabouts released via social media.
The public are invited to embark on a journey to find a bunny and share a photo of themselves with it for the chance to win awesome prizes daily.
The installation of the work celebrates the intersection where art meets commerce as Garden City aims to bring its shoppers new experiences that challenge traditions in the ultimate surprise and delight.
First presented at the Brisbane international arts festival in 2013 and inspired by iconic character "The Bunnyman", the critically acclaimed #thestormiemillsproject has drawn widespread attention no matter where he "hops" up.
