Following a highly regarded visit in 2015, the City of Melville, Attitudinal Healing and Alzheimer’s WA have partnered again to host Michael Verde, renowned educator and international speaker on the topic of Alzheimer’s disease.
The City will host three free events, where Michael will share invaluable insights into how we can connect with people living with the dementia to help ease the pain of loneliness and isolation.
Living Life Fully - ‘Being with’ Care (two dates)
Outside of a cure, the most vital need for people living with Dementia and their loved ones is real emotional connection. Michael shares how to overcome feelings of self-consciousness, discomfort and fear to be fully present and connected to someone living with Dementia.
