LGMA Executive Management Program
The next Executive Management Program will take place on 13 - 15 April 2011.
This highly interactive 3-day program is the only one of its kind where the content is Local Government specific. All presenters are seriously knowledgeable, highly experienced Local Government officers.
In the three years it has been running it has gained a great reputation as meeting a genuine need for Local Government officers seeking to reach the higher levels of the profession.
The program is intended for individuals seeking a better understanding of executive management in Local Government, including those new to the industry, those who aspire, or have recently been appointed, to a CEO or Senior Manager Position in Local Government or existing senior managers seeking a refresher.
Participants who undertake this course will benefit from three days of ‘face to face’ sessions, workshops and group activities, and will leave with a comprehensive understanding of the role and responsibilities of Chief Executive Officers in Local Government. The program also includes a dinner with fellow participants and presenters.
The program is professionally facilitated by Mary Power from Henderson, Power & Associates. She will be assisted by experienced practitioners from Local Government and private industry.
