2011 LGMA Professional Development Conference
The LGMA South West & Metropolitan Branches are pleased to advise that the 2011 Professional Development Conference will again be held in the beautiful surrounds of the Margaret River Wine Region on 31 March – 1 April 2011 at the Margaret River Convention Centre.
“Fit to Lead!”….is the theme of the 2011 Conference and a top quality program will again give delegates an opportunity to hear from inspirational keynote speakers, Local Government staff and industry professionals from other sectors.
The official program will be available early next year however a sneak peak of the program includes:
- Opening Keynote Address by Chris Rose, Chief Executive Officer, Logan City Council (5th Largest in Australia)
- Closing Keynote Address by Jenny Morris, dual Olympic gold medallist & former captain of the Hockeyroos
- PRIMXEL Leadership Workshop: Emotional Intelligence – The Hidden Driver of Leadership Success
A real highlight of the event will be the Conference Dinner to be held at the stunning Gold Plate award winning Leeuwin Estate Restaurant.
This conference is the key Professional Development event for officers, all levels of management and those aspiring to management.
