Embroidery at AH Bracks Library - April
This year, in collaboration with City of Melville Museums, the Embroidery Guild's Textile Collection will have a rolling display of our favourite pieces at AH Bracks Library, corner of Canning Highway and Stock Road, Melville.
In April we are displaying an embroidered sampler. This hand embroidered sampler was made in 1871 in Fremantle. Young Elizabeth had travelled all the way to Western Australia from South Australia, where she stayed for the rest of her life.
To all who are interested in embroidery, check our website www.embroiderersguildwa.com.au or phone 93303065 for classes and workshops.
