The Community Centre is located behind the Stockland Bull Creek Shopping Centre, on the corner of Hassell Crescent and Leichhardt Street in Bull Creek. The Community Centre is in the same building as the Bull Creek Library.
Come and meet the Neighbourhood Development Team; Jo, Veronica, Deena, Teresa, Helen & Fiona. Staff are located at the Blue Gum Community Centre, 33 Moolyeen Road, Brentwood.
What We Offer
The Centre operates seven days a week as a venue for community activities and is not available for hire for one-off events, parties or private functions.
- Two large halls with a fully equipped kitchen.
- Each hall can be hired individually or both halls can be hired as one space (dividing wall between halls).
- Both halls have access to an outdoor play area and courtyard, and one hall has a lounge corner.
- Facilities include disabled access toilets and shower.
To book the Centre:
All bookings are subject to fees. Please check the Fees and Charges to determine costs that may be associated with placing a booking.
Once staff receive a booking application, (please note that all bookings must be received at least two weeks prior to the event), it will be reviewed and you will be contacted with an outcome.

Mums & Bubs morning sessions - Music Book Stories

Anxiety & Depression in Kids – Wednesday 7 and 14 March 2018 from 9.30am to 11.30am: For parents and carers of children aged 3-12 years. Whilst some feelings of anxiety can be a normal part of children’s development, an increasing number of children are experiencing higher levels of anxiety that are impacting on their everyday life. This course aims to assist parents and caregivers to understand anxiety and provides simple strategies for parents and caregivers to use at home.
Sibling Rivalry, Negotiation & Consequences – Wednesday 4 April from 9.30am to 11.30am This happens in all families. Help children with some positive parental input into resolving issues and developing their own solutions in this workshop.
Tweens to Teens - Wednesdays, 2 to 16 May 2018 from 9.30am to 11.30am: A parenting program based on emotional intelligence and attachment theories. This course has been designed to help parents support their adolescents transitioning into high school.
Tuning in to Kids - Wednesdays, 23 May to 6 June 2018 from 9.30am to 11.30am: The course is designed for parents or carers with children aged 0 – 6 and will assist parents/carers to: • Understand the importance of having a secure attachment with your child • Understand how children can feel safe and secure • Understand your child’s behaviours and needs • Understand how your child responds to you.
