Troy Park Drainage Basin Landscape Works
Troy Park Drainage Basin is undergoing remedial landscape works to remove the invasive weeds which are present and to replant, re-fence and tidy. The works are complicated by the presence of possible acid sulfate soils which are normal to areas this close to the river. This means that the works will have to be undertaken quickly to reduce the risk of exposing the soil to the air. It is important that the works are undertaken before the basin becomes filled with runoff. The selected contractors are Natural Area Management Services (NAMS). This company has very good experience and track record in a wide range of environmental and landscape projects.
