Kadidjiny Park
A spectacular $9.5 million park in Melville, almost four hectares in size, located in the heart of Melville, Kadidjiny Park. It offers an amazing playground, barbecues, large amphitheatre with ample space for people to relax and enjoy facilities.
Kadidjiny is located on the old Melville Primary School site. The City of Melville redeveloped the site to install this 9.5million dollar reserve which opened to the public late 2010. The Reserve is bounded by Curtis and Kitchener Roads in Melvillle (next door to Melville Primary School).
There are a number of facilities in the park, including:
- A large playground
- Open space and picnic areas
- A wetland area.
- The Environmental Education Centre.
- A playground.
- Amphitheatre-style seating area
- Barbeques
- A hall that can be booked through MORE Group
- Toilets
- Limited outdoor exercise equipment through out the reserve
The Amphitheatre Area
It is recommend that large organised groups place a booking for the amphitheatre area at Kadidjiny Park. The park is very busy and a number of bookings and events are requested to be held at this reserve through out the year. Although this area can not be booked for exclusive use, we do ensure that only one booking is accepted for the specified date and times.

The Old School Library is available for hire through the MORE Group. A booking form can be obtained from their website or they have be contacted via email

You are welcome to view the ceremony area at the as the site is open 7 days a week.
