Margaret Baker, Melody Smith, Melanie Diss & Serena Aristei: 4 June - 11 July 2010
Four local artists come together to showcase their work which embodies the core element of the materiality and history of painting. Works vary from traditional to non-traditional approaches of representational painting, jewelery making, sculpture, installation, gestural painting, to the creation of luminous pristine surfaces. Each practice is based on process or poesis; an approach to the construction of and layering of meaning.
