Exhibition Applications
All you need to know about having an exhibition at the Heathcote Museum and Gallery.
Would you like to exhibit?
Heathcote is a dynamic gallery providing the community with a high profile exhibition space. It aims to encourage and promote cultural activities through an active and diverse exhibition program. Housed in a heritage building within the Heathcote Cultural Centre, the Gallery is a place where visitors can experience the work of local and regional artists working in a variety of mediums.
Through its annual program of exhibitions the Gallery seeks to promote and stimulate discussion about the arts and broader cultural issues. The Gallery provides support to artists and community groups through programming and development of exhibitions, workshops and other projects that connect to the community.
The Gallery invites proposals from emerging and established artists, curators, community groups and people wanting to exhibit material within a social history context. The Gallery develops exhibitions in-house, by invitation and through artist proposals.
Exhibitions include solo exhibitions, group exhibitions and exhibitions from organizations and institutions. Creative and cross-disciplinary approaches to exhibiting, a consideration of our heritage and history, as well as ideas which utilise the building and grounds are encouraged.
