Services
There is a lot more to the City of Melville libraries than our excellent lending facilities. Specialised services are continually improved to meet the changing needs of the community.
Reference Material
City of Melville libraries have an extensive range of reference material including encyclopedias, CD ROMs, directories and ABS statistics. Professional reference staff are able to help you find information across a variety of media, printed and electronic, in a timely and efficient manner.
Information Technology
The libraries have a fully integrated PC-based information system with online public access catalogues and access to online databases. The Internet is available at all branches, ring your branch and make a booking!
Self Service Loans
Civic Square, A.H.Bracks and Bull Creek Libraries have installed a self-issue loans system that allows people to issue items to themselves rather than have staff perform the normal checkout function. A great service for people in a hurry!
Increased Access
