Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre is an innovative venue showcasing the latest in renewable energy technologies and sustainable building design. Set within an urban bushland reserve which contains sensitive lake and wetland areas, the venue has a minimal ecological footprint and is self-sufficient, with no connection to mains power, water or sewage.
The following information provides an overview of the key technology and design features that help to make the Centre a unique example of a sustainably designed facility and a clean, green building.
