Learn the basics of the bush - an outdoor experience not to be missed. For all ages. Only 30 places available - book early FREE
Starts 9.30 am
Finishes after picnic lunch about 12.30
Vanessa From Bob Cooper Outdoor Education will run a two hour session on bush survival skills. Vanessa has been running outdoor courses for many years and is well trained in this area. The bush survival skills will be held in the Piney Lakes bush reserve so please come prepared with shoes, hat, suncream, water bottle. Following this will be a picnic in the lovely surrounds of Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre.
BYO PICNIC LUNCH
Topic will include:
Finding water in the bush
Alternative fire-lighting methods
How to manage your water
Recognising poisonous plants
Using a compass
Basic first aid
