Join Marissa Verma and local Noongar women from the Djidi Djidi Aboriginal Women's Group for a guided tour of Bidi Katitjiny Trail at Piney Lakes.
Did you know that Piney Lakes Reserve is a sacred place for Noongar Women? We even have a special education trail called the Bidi Katitjiny Women's Trail here. If you are interested in the history of our area, native plants and animals or bush tucker, come and join us as we walk the trail to learn about the Noongar six seasons and how plants were used for food and medicines. Join us for a meal afterwards, prepared by local Noongar women of Bindi Bindi Dreaming, using traditional Noongar food as ingredients in modern food.
