Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre

Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre is an innovative building showcasing the latest in renewable energy technologies and sustainable building design. Set in an urban bushland setting in the City of Melville, this building offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the environment and sustainable living.

Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre is located off Leach Highway in Winthrop within Piney Lakes Reserve.
The Centre runs regular community education programs in sustainable living - including the Living Smart Workshop Series, worm-farming workshops and Great Garden workshops.  The centre also caters for schools and TAFE offering a range of school excursion programs focusing on the environment and sustainable living.
