The Sustainability and Greenhouse Action Plan was developed as a requirement of milestone 3 of the Cities for Climate Protection Program. It contains a greenhouse gas inventory and outlines ways of reducing emissions associated with Council operations and within the municipality.

The Sustainability and Greenhouse Action Plan has been incorporated into the Ecological Sustainability Framework. The Framework provides direction for new actions that are being developed on an ongoing basis. The actions will be reported against each Strategic Direction. This can be found on the tabs to left in the tab titled Ecological Sustainability Framework.
