We provide registration of your agency and volunteer positions on our database. This information is then passed onto potential volunteers who may be interested in volunteering with your organisation.

Volunteer Managers Network

The Volunteer Managers’ Network meets regularly at Melville Volunteer Resource Centre. Contact the centre for more information.

Volunteer Referral Service

We provide information and resources to support potential volunteers to make informed choices about what volunteering positions they are interested in applying for. The potential volunteer has the option of coming in to the centre to talk to us face to face, talking to us over the phone and emailing us on potential positions.

Promotion

We actively promote your organisation, serivces and volunteer positions to potential volunteers and the local community. We also stock pamplets to assist in the promotion.

Information, Resources and Training

We seek to provide information, resources and advice on best practice standards for organisations involving volunteers, and access to volunteer training as and when available.

E-Newsletter for Community Organisations

By registering with us you will be sent a monthly newsletter by email. This newsletter will provide you with relevant information about volunteering plus statistics and volunteering trends, fudraising, grant applications, training and workshops and other useful links. We also provide links to other Industry Newsletters.

Recognition of Volunteers

An invitation for your volunteers to attend an annual City of Melville Volunteer Appreciation Event for Volunteers in the City of Melville.

At the Melville Volunteer Resource Centre we stock a library containing books, DVD's and CD's on everything to assist you to successfully manage your Volunteers.
