What we do

We maintain a register of many diverse and interesting volunteering postitions, making it easy for you to access information about volunteering, volunteering positions and community organisations all in one visit.

The Melville Volunteer Resource Centre is an initiative of the City of Melville supported through funding from the Department for Community Development. 

Our service assists with:

• Connecting locals with volunteering resources;
• Providing resources and support to potential volunteers;
• Providing information, support and resources to Volunteer Coordinators and groups involving volunteers.
• Increasing the profile of volunteering across the community;
• Supporting volunteer recognition events. 

We  provide a central point for volunteering enquiries from potential volunteers and a support resource for over 150 community organisations in the City of Melville that involve volunteers.
