Bike Path/Shared Path adjacent to the foreshore in Attadale (between Ormond Road and Tanson Road). City of Melville has undertaken some temporary repairs and tried to cordon off the area, however with the pending storms and rain, this may be further eroded.
Bike Path/Shared Path adjacent to the foreshore in Attadale (between Ormond Road and Tanson Road). On Monday22 June 2011, a portion of the path was undermined by rising river levels and has become unsafe for many user groups.
City of Melville has undertaken some temporary repairs and tried to cordon off the area, however with the pending storms and rain, this may be further eroded.
We would urge user groups to either change their walking patterns or use the alternative path (on the grass) closer to Burke Drive.
Hopefully this situation is temporary, until a more permanent solution can be found.
