Annually, $100,000.00 is available to City of Melville residents to assist with maintaining their independence in their own homes, and is allocated as follows:

$25,000.00 is available for grants of up to $5,000.00 for innovative programs benfiting senior residents of the City of Melville. 

$75,000.00 is allocated to direct service provision and is managed by Care Options.  Should a resident be unable to able to access a service through a service provider, they should contact Commonwealth Carelink on 1800 052 222 who will inform them if the service is available through another organisation, or refer them to Care Options for referral to the Seniors Assistance Fund.
