Dogs currently located in the pound
Up one levelPayment for release of dogs should be made at the City of Melville prior to release.
Pursuant to the powers conferred by the Dog Act 1976, lost dogs are impounded at the City of Melville Dog Pound, Bramanti Road, Murdoch (Off Murdoch Drive).
If impounded dogs are not claimed within one hundred and twenty hours (120) hours or (five (5) days) from the time and date of this notice, the dog may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of pursuant to the Act.

All dogs must be registered prior to release - if your dog is not registered you must pay a Registration Fee as well. Please call 1300 635 845 for types of registration fees.

Fees may be paid at the City of Melville, Civic Centre, Almondbury Road, Booragoon between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. The Pound is open for collection of dogs between 4.00pm and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. The phone number for the Pound is 9364 0760.
