Support Services

City of Melville facilitates a variety of support services for access and inclusion

Assistance at Home

For information about help in the home contact your Local Area Coordinator at the Disability Services Commission (DSC) by calling (08) 9426 9200.

Melville Cares provides Home and Community Care (HACC) services in the home, day centre activities and transport. For more information call (08) 9319 0900.

The City of Melville's five libraries also have a Housebound Reader Service to deliver books to those who can not be mobile.

Community First International runs a Meals on Wheels Service for those unable to prepare their own meals. Visit the Meals on Wheels page to find out more.

Social Groups

Melville Cares runs social group activities for children and adults with a range of disabilities, for more information, contact (08) 9319 0900.

Advocacy

The organisation, People With Disabilities (PWD) provides advocacy for individuals with disabilities contact them on (08) 9485 8900.

Respite

Contact the Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre on 1800 052 222 for information on respite services.

Carer Support

For families and friends who are carers supporting their relative with a disability contact Carers WA on 1300 227 377.
