Accessible Facilities

You're Welcome - AccessWA provides clear access information about local Council facilities and local businesses. The two main objectives of You're Welcome - AccessWA are to: 

• Enable people with disabilities, their families and carers to participate in community life by encouraging community and businesses to make their services and facilities accessible; and
• Provide accurate easy to obtain information so that people with disabilities, their families and carers are able to access their local communities.

The City of Melville has coordinated the You're Welcome AccessWA Initiative locally.  You're Welcome was developed by the Disability Services Commission (DSC) in partnership with the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA)  to provide clear information about access to local facilities and amenities to people of all ages and abilities living in or visiting the locality.
